Location: Sydney/ Melbourne
Infosys is seeking a dynamic, strategic and innovative Data and AI Strategy leader to facilitate the organization’s mission to grow and evolve Infosys’ Data and Analytics business unit. The successful candidate will distinguish herself or himself by being a coach to the CEOs of Infosys’ client-base to navigate business transformation using the power of data and AI. S/He will be leading and contributing to strategic master plan and advisory engagements with the client to develop data and AI led initiatives for transformation, S/He can also be involved in the execution and delivery of such engagements in a leadership role. S/He will act as the brand-ambassador for Infosys and represent Infosys’ thought leadership in public forums and media.

To meet these objectives, the Strategist’s responsibilities will include the following:
• Lead and contribute to CEO Advisory Engagements by developing comprehensive data-strategy to affect business transformation
• Enhance and expand the book of business for the data strategy practice, by proactively engaging individual networks and assisting client partners and executives to “sell up” in existing relationships
• Design and Develop methodologies and frameworks for framing the opportunities in the business, as well as framing the execution of the strategy
• Advise and coach clients on how best to leverage AI and how to enable it across people, process and technology for powering business transformation
• Develop master plans for client engagements that defines the end-state vision, designs the data ecosystem of the future, articulates the glide-path and defines the proof of values along the way
• Engage in client engagements to lead, manage and drive execution of transformation programs spear-headed by data
• Be an active and strategic voice in the executive management team, driving our core data vision forward.
• Maintain and enhance the integrity of Infosys and its reputation as industry leader. Continue to instill the highest of ethical standards and expectations across all aspects of the business.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent will consider work experience in lieu of a degree 15 years of Information Technology experience
  • The successful candidate must possess business-consulting skills to engage CXOs, and others P&L leaders on the client’s executive team, on the range of issues, which affect their industry in general, and the company in particular.
  • Experience with any of the following:
    • Boot camp training in a big-4 or a boutique Management Consulting Practice is a big plus.
    • Publications in recognized Forums
    • Speaking Experience in Conferences
The key areas of experience that the successful candidate should possess are, grouped under four (4) categories:

1.Business Empathy
Have had experience in performing and leading business functions and/or units in one of the following industries:
    • Healthcare and Life Sciences
    • Telecommunications
    • Energy, Utilities and Sustainable Ecosystem
    • Financial Services and Insurance
    • Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods
    • Manufacturing and Supply Chain
    • Have a deep Alumni and Industry Network
    • Have managed a P&L or owned a balance-sheet in a business unit
    • Have led change management and/or managed mergers and integrations and/or led impactful enterprise initiatives
    • Entrepreneurial experience as a startup co-founder is a big plus
2. Data and AI Savvy
• Programmer
• Education and/or Experience in Applied Mathematics, including but not limited to Statistical analysis, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, etc
• Education and/or Experience in modern data engineering technologies including but not limited to cloud-native data estates, data pipelines, data virtualization, data as a product, data privacy, micro-services architecture, access management, data locality
• Ability to manage and execute technology projects, preferable using Agile Methodology
• Awareness and Research on the emerging technology differentiators to enable AI such as Quantum Computing, GPUs, Block-Chain Technology (BCT)

3. Storyteller
• Ability to engage CEO and COO of Fortune 500 companies
• Developed formal business cases and business narrative, and is schooled in techniques such as Value Analysis, Market Research
• Ability to perform Financial Analysis and create Value propositions for Investments
• Proficient in Visualization techniques to articulate business cases and Return-On-Investments
• Strong presence and excellent communications skills to lead and motivate peers and leaders.

4. Leadership
• Leads by example, conveys and instills integrity, and is capable of inspiring dedicated professional at all levels. Possess a confident, seasoned, engaging and personable style
• Ability and willingness to roll-up his/her sleeves, drive consistent execution of strategic plans and strategies and, “make it happen” in a fast-moving, lean, and entrepreneurial environment.
• Multi-dimensional thinker who operates not only from important past experiences, but with new approaches and developments that occur in a changing and competitive marketplace
• Proven ability to influence, collaborate, build consensus, and resolve conflict while maintaining an enthusiastic and approachable leadership style.
